Folded Rocks and the Rapid Formation of Grand Canyon
Denizens of the secular science industry have a habit of telling stories, especially when they need to protect deep time. After all, the Bearded Buddha needs many years to make his evolution story seem plausible, so they give it to him. Evidence for the Genesis Flood is rejected out of hand.
Fortunately, Dr. Snelling won the lawsuit and was able to collect fifty-three samples. His goal was to see if secular scientists could adequately explain rock folds or if they were just using the principle of Making Things Up™ again to bolster their story of 500 million years to fold those rocks.
Some time ago, Dr. Andrew Snelling was pondering the folded rocks at Grand Canyon. Try to bend or fold a rock now, it shatters under the force. He wanted to take some rocks for examination, but government officials discriminated against him and refused permission.

The samples were processed with great care. Some were sliced paper-thin so that light could show through them (which is impressive technology). Snelling examined those samples under a geological microscope to determine content and all that good stuff. In addition, he worked through a huge amount of related scientific literature. The result? He wrote papers about how Grand Canyon was indeed formed recently and rapidly in the Genesis Flood. Now we will see if secularists will honestly deal with the material he presented. Yippie ky yay, Flood deniers!
In May 2017, with the help of the Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF), I had to file a lawsuit against the Grand Canyon National Park (GCNP) and the National Park Service for worldview discrimination because the GCNP was habitually refusing to grant me a research and sampling permit to collect 53 fist-sized rock samples. Within six weeks, the lawsuit was settled. With the permit granted, in early August 2017, we launched a research raft trip through the Grand Canyon to collect those 53 samples. . . . Here, I’ll recount some of that background and condense many of the findings.
