Sometimes they take a Great Metamorphosis Notion

One of the great marvels in the natural world is metamorphosis. A caterpillar goes into a cocoon, is deconstructed, then out pops a butterfly. Dragonflies and other creatures do this as well. It has always been a mystery that believers in descent with modifications evolution cannot explain.

A group of researchers took a notion, which is fine for a starting point, but then presented it as finished work. Lazy, sloppy, even dishonest work is becoming more common in the secular science industry, so mayhaps the standard has fallen this low?

The metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly is well known (dragonflies have a similar process) but not understood by evolutionists. Researchers presented a notion instead of work.

Secularists have an a priori commitment to materialism, so evidence supporting the Master Engineer's work is rejected out of hand. The irreducible complexity of metamorphosis itself should convince anyone of his existence. if they did not have their Darwin spectacles on, which filter out inconvenient logic and facts. Indeed, genetics adds evidence for the Creator, as all the genetic material was in the caterpillar that caused it to reassemble into the butterfly. Or dragonfly. Or whatever. This is another example of irreducible complexity.

Secularists, cowboy up and admit that the evidence points to the Creator. Don't be giving us "notions" and expecting other scientists to build on them, you savvy that? Good night, Irene!

The authors of a new paper on insect metamorphosis admit that its evolution is “poorly understood,” adding that “why this extreme lifestyle evolved is unclear.” Stated succinctly, they don’t know how it evolved; they don’t know why it evolved; they just know that it did evolve. With non-Darwinian explanations ruled out from the starting gate by the philosophical rule of methodological naturalism, what’s a Darwinian to do? Some of them came up with a notion.
