Textbooks Indoctrinating Children for Darwin

Although many Western countries had Judeo-Christian values when they were founded, they have drifted from them over the years. People still enjoy the fruits of those values to some extent but are mostly unaware of where they originated. Different values are taught in schools.

State-run education is a misnomer; it is actually indoctrination. Yes, indoctrination is a word that is often casually used, but it is used very deliberately in this case. The school system has control of children for about a thousand hours a year. They teach materialistic and atheistic "values," especially evolution.

It is no secret that secularists believe it is acceptable to lie to students to get them to believe evolution. Textbooks have false and outdated information for this goal.

It is hypocritical for atheists and other secularists/humanists to be outraged when Christian parents want to instill their morals and principles in their children. Christians are supposedly indoctrinating" them. Not hardly! The opposite is true. Evolution is paramount, and liars for Darwin believe that, according to their fundamentally-flawed morality, it is acceptable to lie to kids to get them to believe in evolution.

As college students know, textbooks are rewritten frequently. That is supposedly because new information is available (as well as simply improving the writing). Textbooks involving evolution are not really presenting science and logic. Instead, they are using bad science, debunked and abandoned evolutionary ideas, arbitrary assertions, ignoring flaws in evolution, and more. A polished façade of evolution is presented, ignoring controversies and fraud in evolution. Interpretations of evidence from creation science the Intelligent Design camp are streng verboten. It would be useful to rewrite textbooks with complete information on evolution, accurately presenting other views. Not happening. Yes, the word indoctrination is accurate.

A review of several leading popular children’s books on science found that those reviewed taught evolution dogmatically, often using incorrect information. In no case was an attempt made to help readers use reason regarding evolution theory or its problems.

Although proofreaders and editors missed some points early in the paper, it is nonetheless worth your time. To read it all, see "How Children’s Books Indoctrinate Children in Darwinism."
