Jesus and the Miracle of Sight
The greatest miracle of Jesus...there are many ideas about what that may be, and those are probably influenced by personal preference or knowledge. John 11:43-44 records how Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, and there were others as well. Those are pretty impressive.
Jesus is the Creator (John 1:3, Col. 1:16, Heb. 1:2), so making the earth, life, entire universe — a substantial miracle. Calming a storm by speaking to it (he created everything by speaking), healing people, walking on water. An eye surgeon believes giving sight to the man born blind is a huge miracle.

We may read about or watch a movie with the sight to the blind miracle and think that it's a nice thing, but there is quite a bit happening. Eyes themselves are complex and have many parts. These have to be connected in many ways, and the brain has to be able to register the activity of sight.
Nobody knows if the “man born blind” in John 9 of the Holy Bible, who was healed by Jesus, had microphthalmia or some other condition, but whatever the problem he had been sightless for many years. Severe microphthalmia is often coupled with other congenital problems, but apparently both he and my infant patient had been spared these malfunctions.
